READ THE NFO. ** Release Information ** Gamebug Notes: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Seems like a lot of people are experiencing problems with this game It seems that there is a pretty big bug in the game, which causes it not to work for everyone. It seemed that the game made Desktop icons and Startmenu icons which were pointed to your game dir. Due to the bug the game would crash then, or just jump back to windows. We included a batch file for your convenience which you have to unrar to your installdir. If you run the game with this batch file your problems should be over. Of course, you can also change the properties of Desktop icon or Startmenu icon and edit them manually. Example: If your installdir is c:\games\et the line you see should look like this: c:\games\et\typhoon.exe HOVAPPDATA=c:\games\et Now change this to: c:\games\et\typhoon.exe HOVAPPDATA=d:\games\et or any other dir. You can even use a non existing dir. As long as you dont use the real dir, or a root dir. So you cannot change it to c:\games\et\typhoon.exe HOVAPPDATA=d:\ This wouldnt work. Of course, it much more easier to just run our batchfile, included in this bugfix. We apologize for this inconvience, obviously its a game bug which will probably be fixed in an upcoming update patch. Note: ~~~~~ unrar, burn, install. Choose the language file of your choice from crack dir and rename to Typhoon.exe, copy that file into your gamedir Now unrar the 'typhoon.bat' file to your installdir or manually edit desktop and startmenu icons as described above. To start the game. Use the ShortCuts the game made on desktop and startmenu if you changed manually.
