Barb Waters has joined forces with some of her
hometown musicians for some great duet partnerships.
Featuring Cyndi Boste, Dan Warner, Kim Salmon, Lisa
Miller & Rebecca Barnard, Rob Snarski, Matt Walker,
Anna Burley, Nick Barker, Git and Ashley Davies,
Rosa Duet is the Melbourne based singer- songwriter-
guitarist's second album on Laughing Outlaw Records.

The idea for this album grew from Barb's love of
music that happens around the kitchen table or
sitting out on the verandah, strumming an acoustic
guitar and singing harmonies, sharing the simple
pleasures of making music together.

These co-penned collaborations have taken place far
from the sterile recording studio environment; songs
were written and sung with cups of tea and toddlers
climbing onto knees. This is, after all, where whole
traditions of good and real music come from - the
warmth, community and domestic chaos of our home
lives, the ideas and visions which grow from that
starting point of pulling up a chair together,
strumming a chord and joining voices with another's.
