The Beat Cowboys are hard to define. Some folks
think the band is miscatagorized as a Country act,
and while the Beat Cowboys hold their own alongside
the heaviest of groups with their energetic live
show and airplay, they find their roots in the
Country world. Although the bands earthy, crunch
driven sound has led to the unexpected crossover of
the Beat Cowboys to mainstream rock and roll, they
still retain the essence of the Mesilla Valley, New
Mexico / Texas, the bands home.
