Release Notes:

Brad Rice, ex-Backsliders guitarist and musical
accomplice to folks like Ryan Adams and Tift
Merritt, releases a greasy, dirty, psych-filled
rocker that's almost retro along the lines of Love
And Rockets, MBV and The Jesus And Mary Chain. The
inclusion of the track "Younger", from the Steve
Wynn tribute album entitled From A Man Of Mysteries,
as well as two songs co-written with the former
Dream Syndicate member, solidifies the greater push
towards psych from roots. Rice holds a breathy and
swaggered vocal over rich sonics, heavily reverbed
and languorously washed out. It's a sound for which
he's almost solely responsible - handling guitar,
bass, percussion and vocal - with the exception of
assistance from drummer Zeke Hutchins (Merritt, Thad
Cockrell, Sarah Lee & Johnny).
