It is a quality mix of acoustic songs and music that straddles the Atlantic Ocean. The light, the not-so-light and the in-between - it's all here. Brendan was born in Finglas West, Dublin, Ireland. For the past twenty years he has worked as an Educational Welfare Officer - before that he studied Philosophy and Sociology at Trinity College Dublin. Brendan started writing songs in earnest in the early 1990's. In 1993 won the Killarney Folk Festival Song Competition. Brendan's first album Copper Alley followed in 1996. Since then he has continued to write original songs of true quality and perform them in intimate settings. Songs From A Yellow Chair will establish Brendan as a significant force as a singer/songwriter. "Brendan Devereux is an undiscovered talent" Froots Magazine "We're REALLY picky about what goes on the front page. We get about 75 new albums a DAY coming in here now, (about 30,000 total), and yours is one of the best I've ever heard." Derek Sivers, President Cdbaby.
