The origin of KREASE can be traced back to when
singer/songwriter/guitarists Rhys George and Kris
Harris met by chance at a Northeast Philadelphia
coffee house open mic night. The two immediately
recognized the musical chemestry between them, and
soon became life-long friends!
Rhys and Krissy began performing together regularly
in area nightclubs, coffee houses, and outdoor
festivals over the last several years, and in the
process, have built up a loyal Krease fan base.
One may describe the band's music as alternative
pop/rock with a hint of country flavor. Both Krissy
and Rhys are prolific songwriters, each with a large
repotoire of songs, But the true appeal of Krease is
when the two combine their individual talents to
form one voice, heart, and mind.
2006 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for the
band, With the release of their debut album "You Got
In", and with the addition of band members Kevin
Bonawitz (bass), Bob Finegan (drums,etc.),and newly
acquired call-up Rick Minter (lead & rhythm guitar).
