Slip On Through 02:17 Release Notes: Richard Snow is from the town that allegedly brought you Robin Hood, Nottingham in England. Having been in bands through the nineties he now makes music by himself with a little help from some friends. This is the second album from Richard Snow. Like the first, "Tuesday Music" is a mixed bag of musical styles. The Album Kicks off with "And Then" , an instrumental piece with a strong Brian Wilson flavour. "Silent Girlfriend" is a Rickenbacker 12 string driven , guitar pop song with plenty of vocal harmonies. "You're My Number One" and "Days Of Simplicity" show a more Folky influence still with plenty of vocals. "Hard To Be Happy" and "You Said it" sound big and cavernous like Phil Spector records, the former song being again very much a pop song with Del Shannon style vocal leaps. The brief title track, "Tuesday Music" sounds like it was recorded 50 years ago. A lo-fi recording of multiple Clarinets playing major sevenths. It cuts abrubtly into the tongue in cheek country rock of "Lonesome Cowboy" "When You Smile" is heavy on harpsichord like a Left Banke record. "Expectations" covers the music styles of heavy guitar rock, 60' cop show music and Wilsonesque Smile, all in the space of two and a half minutes. The album wraps it up with a cover of the Beach Boys classic "Slip On Through" written by drummer Dennis.
