Supraluxe is a three-piece band from Minneapolis/St.
Paul whose eponymous debut is a surprisingly mature
and self-assured first work. Meticulous, lush and
melodic, the album pulses with a light and dark
energy that is undeniable. With influences as
diverse as Steely Dan, Elliot Smith, Todd Rundgren
and David Bowie, Supraluxe carves out new classic
melodies with a unique and cohesive vision.
Incorporating the latest in digital recording
technology with classic rock guitars and orchestral
arrangements, band members Bob Burns, Rich Pearson
and Jim Risser have created a song cycle that is
accomplished and complete. By wrapping themes of
loss, anxiety, alienation and love in the gloss of
shiny summerpop, Supraluxe has created an
exuberantly melancholy work.

In fact, Supraluxe believes that you, the music
