In the case of Teaneck, they can be great things. But we'll talk more about that later. Once in a blue moon, a band comes along that makes you jump out of your seat. Makes you pump your fist in the air in triumph. Makes you call your friends and harass them about how super pumped up you are. Really - I have done it. It's music that makes you glad to be alive. This is Teaneck. But make no mistake - behind these catchy as hell tunes are thoughtful, introspective, quirky lyrics. You might not know Teaneck now, but you will. It's time for us to get acquainted with them. Crossing the street is a normal, everyday task. However, when you get hit by a car at 35mph, it's not so normal. This is what happened to Loren Isaac on a warm, July evening in 2003. Having survived intact, Loren knew it was fate - he had to get a band together - and fast. "I basically knew it was now or never", says Loren. "So I made some calls to friends and got the ball rolling. That is, after all my extensive bruising healed." And he couldn't have called better friends. Jeff Burke, having recently moved from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles, was the first man on board. "Our first practice was EPIC", laughs Jeff. "We were jumping around and making songs and being incredible. It was brilliant, basically." Eventually stumbling upon Craig Wahl through an ad that read, "Join our band - we dont suck!", Teaneck's lineup was complete. Feeling three members was more than enough, the boys in Teaneck formed a deep bond through their mutual admiration/obsessions of decades of rock, alternative, indie, and metal ("Awesome metal dude", according to Jeff). "We're just tired of the music wed been hearing from bands in clubs to what was on the radio", states Craig. "So why not make songs you want to hear?" And thats exactly what they've been doing. Having recently recorded their 1st Album, “Masters of Achievement”, the boys of Teaneck have been touring relentlessly up and down the West Coast - while looking ahead to a comprehensive domination of the entire United States. They've been spreading good vibes everywhere they go with high energy, balls-to-the-wall live shows, and selling box loads of their ever popular Teaneck Loves Me t-shirts. "No, the t-shirt is not a joke", interjects Jeff. "We really do love you. We love everybody. Were a band for everyone - and everyone is invited. Even you!"
