  Tour of Duty '44 takes the WDK2K engine from the future to the not too distant
  past of WWII.  With specialized rules to highlight the problems facing squad 
  level units in WWII, this mod has risen from just an add-on pack to an almost 
  complete game in itself! Here is just a sampling of what you get: 
 
  * Complete 21-scenario campaign following a US Infantry Platoon from D-Day
    to St. Lo.
  * Features amphibious assaults, open country, bocage, street fighting and
    many other battlefields.
  * Call in artillery support, let loose the cover smoke, button down the
    hatches, cut the wire, bombard the bunkers!  Charge!!
  * Full PBEM support!
  * 15 types of vehicles and 30+ types of infantry!
  * Using the flexible WDK2K engine you can now create any battle in
    WWII using this new game!
  * All graphics are standard 24-bit Windows bitmaps (.bmp) and all sounds
    are standard waves (.wav) allowing you to use standard tools you already
    own to make modifications.

  Unzip, unace or run install, run unpack.exe to unpack the sound. Run WDK.EXE
  and choose the Play Campaign option.  Select the WWII folder and select the
  file DDay_to_St_Lo.wcm.
