  RELEASE NOTES:

  This is no simple foray into the modern world of espionage. The enemy is
  Russia, but there isn't a KGB agent in sight. Codename Eagle is set on an
  alternative Earth at the beginning of the 20th century, where the First
  World War and Russian Revolution never happened. The Tsar of Russia has
  indeed been murdered - in his bed, no less - but at the hands of his
  young, ambitious and power-hungry son Peter. Ernst Stavro Blofeld eat
  your heart out.

  Tsar Peter's bid for world domination leads him to unleash the industrial
  might of Mother Russia on the West. So world war there is, but things
  look far from rosy for the hard-pressed forces of good. Enter Shadow
  Command, a secret service formed by members of the Alliance - those
  countries not crushed beneath the frosty heel of Russian military boots.

  As Red, one of Shadow Command's most experienced operatives, you have
  to infiltrate enemy territory and perform hair-raising missions of
  espionage and sabotage. Suave and sophisticated, with an accent that
  would make debutantes swoon, Red thinks nothing of going on a military
  operation dressed in the combat equivalent of a pair of pyjamas - a
  leather flying helmet, brown leather jacket with sheepskin collar and
  what looks like a putty knife. Its budget might be tight, but surely
  Shadow Command should send out its operatives with more than this...

  From there on in it's first-person, 3D-accelerated action with a twist.
  Go storming in and all you'll do is attract the unwanted attention of
  hordes of guards, Dobermans, machine-gun-equipped pillboxes and armoured
  cars. Stealth is very much on the agenda and you'll need plenty of it to
  complete the game's 12 missions. Speed is of the essence - in one
  mission you get only a limited time to destroy Russia's super weapon.
  All of which promises to add to the challenge of this
  licensed-to-thrill experience.
