NOTES WEll shit man we fucked up we admit it doesnt happen often but when it does we admit it. However fucking up a small bat file is not even on the same level as what pdm did. In our eagerness to bring you this great game I (ICE) sent the packer the wrong bat file. This was recently pointed out to us and as such would'nt turn the music back to wavs and a few other mp3 conversion problems. However pdm didnt even know this and they didnt even bother to test ours when 2 (yes thats right folks a whole 2 HOURS later) they duped us with a low quality inferior cheap imitation of a rip of this great fun game ( views of game are authors). Why is it a cheap imitation you may well ask so im going to tell you 1) they lowered the BIT rate of the mp3s to squeeze this game in the lame faction disk limit. Now they will argue that this is the recommended bit rate for that khz of wav but let me point out what that means. The RECOMMENDED QUALITY VS. SIZE this therefore means that for the sake of size quality is sacrificed which can lead to such things as hissy sound (braveheart) and other such errors during playback. We at origin felt that you the enduser should have the best quality nearest to the original as possible so we used a nice high bit rate to produce the best possible quality we could for you the end user where as pdm only seemed to care about one upping origin. Remember folks BIT RATE isn't KHZ. 2) They did RIP movies they just used different terminology to us. You see to me reframing means to put in a different frame it doesnt mean to take just the first frame of a movie and use that this is what we did to some movies and what Paralame did to all the movies. Yes thats right folks they also removed needed in game battle anims which we very kindly left in for you the end user. 3) Finally and foremost the pdm release was done simply to put the release inside the outdated obsolete faction rules. Why do i say this? Well many reasons but here are the 2 main ones. i) When the FUCKTION was formed mp3 was not a used format for ripping games so this means that there are no actual rules relating and as such no real ruling about mp3 can be made. ii) All founding members of the FUCKTION are gone for various reason's and this means that the fucktion is not longer really a viable organisation since one of the rules clearly states that one of the founders must invite another group. Thus no founders no new members which makes the fucktion an elitist organistion used as a lame attempt to put origin down and thus affecting you the end user. So in conclusion why did we break the fucktion limits? well simple we arent part of the fucktion and we feel that the fucktion and as such felt it was better to bring the enduser a near complete high quality version of the game as opposed to a low quality inferior dupe like PDM.
