What: Rough release of Final Fantasy VII exe files virus free

Instructions:
1. Unace the Rough version of FF7 (but *don't* run any exe files
   extraced!!!)
2. Copy the three .exe files in this zip-archive to your FF7 directory
   (write over the existing files)

    FF7Config.exe
    FF7.exe
    cdcheck.exe

3. You now have a virus free Final Fantasy VII installed.

You'd better download and install the AntiViral Toolkit Pro in any
case - the CIH virus is said to be found in several releases as of 
late. You can check that it works by unace:ing the three exe files
from the ROUGH release and run AVP on them (then delete them - or
disinfect them, your call). Here's the instructions for installing
AVP (taken from the Divine virus warning nfo):

Well it happened.  A Virus.  Slid through all you Smart Asses
McAffee (tm) and Norton (tm) Scanners.  Well here is the Solution
You need to download AntiViral Tools Pro version 3.0 Build 119 from
www.avp.ch. (Get and install BOTH DOS and WIN Versions  Then get
the update from www.avp.ch/E/updates.htm.  Once Installed Shut down
into MSDOS Mode, and run AVPLITE.exe.  Once you have cleaned the C 
drive, and all its contents You can load up windows, and run AVP in 
win9x to clean everything else on your box.  You need to
Unzip/Unrar/Unace, ALL files to check them.  If you dont run the
infected .exe, you will be fine.
