   THE WORLD IS AT YOUR FEET! THE JOURNEY STARTS NOW! FROM THE GREAT CITIES
   OF EUROPE AND AMERICA TO THE GALÁPAGOS ISLANDS AND THE EXOTIC PARADISE
   OF ZANZIBAR. 

   Life as a Globetrotter is not just about travelling around the world - it's
   also about surviving. For your adventure to be successful, you must plan
   your trip and get to know the cities you visit, including the various areas
   and local sights. 

   You choose a character at the start of the game and have to take good care
   of him or her all the way through the game. You can get jet lag on long
   flights, must preferably sleep at night and have to work to earn travelling
   money. You can also earn money by going on photographic missions that will
   take you to see famous sights and people in foreign countries. A photo
   mission earns you both cash and prestige in the worldwide Globetrotter Club. 

   Travel by plane, boat or train to destinations all over the world. Take a 
   taxi or use the local metro system. See the many exciting attractions while
   you explore the realistic city maps. If you have travelled to a place in
   reality, it will be easier for you to find your way around in the game - and
   vice-versa! When you play Globetrotter, you will visit places that you can
   later travel to in the real world.
