Info: ----- CLASS again rushes "NHL Powerplay 98" out the door and does not bother to spend five minutes removing the simple movie routine (A more accurate statement would be that CyberPhreak could NOT remove it). Running it: ----------- To remove the FLC movies, just simply copy the EXE files into the directory where you installed ""NHL Powerplay 98". A special note to the scene: ---------------------------- As it may seem, CLASS releases the majority of games. What you as a end user to the scene might not realize is that most of them are thrown together as fast as possible just to get them out the door and most of them are not cracked or ripped properly. Here are a few examples: NHL98: Because Cyberphreak couldn't re-index the speech file, a 180 Meg speech file was zero byted so that it would compress to nil when RAR'ed. When the game is unarchived it requires and additional 180 Megs of hard disk space because the file was not re-indexed or removed. I love wasting hard drive space! WATERWORLD: They used the same zero byte technique on Waterworld. Oh, that's great... the CLASS release requires unnecessary hard drive space because they are LAZY and CyberPhreak needs to learn how to crack. FORCED ALLIANCE: Nice CD-Check that pops up and then goes away! If you would have removed the CD-Check CORRECTLY you never would get that screen! POSTAL: Yeah, sure you tested it! Closing: -------- I ask you, when is enough... enough? I have never seen RAZOR, HYBRID, or PARADIGM pull these sorts of stunts. Yeah, sure... games require fixes from time to time, but CLASS is excessive (I think one month they had more fixes than releases). CLASS would not "win" on as many releases if they spent time cracking things properly. Yeah, their releases might "work", but most of the time they are fixing them. CLASS, leave your cracking jobs for Wolverine or Grudge(NICE work on TA!) and NOT Cyberphreak or just leave them to the other groups so that they will get done right!
