  Introduction .

   ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ



  This patch prevents a Return to Castle Wolfenstein dedicated server from

  calling home to the wolfenstein key authorization server.



  With this patch you can run a server which allows clients with any cd-key

  to connect and play as the keys are never checked.



  How To Use .

   ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ



  First apply the normal Wolfenstein 1.1 patch from the wolf_1_1.exe



  If you are having problems installing the patch you can just open

  the executable with a zip archive program and extract the files.



  After patching to Wolfenstein to version 1.1, copy the provided executable

  wolf_mp.exe (in the \crack dir) into your wolfenstein dir.



  Notes .

   ÄÄÄÄÄÙ



  The only thing the patch defeats is the calling home to the authorization

  server. The server will however still send heartbeats to the master

  servers. If you want to disable the server from sending out anything at

  all include this in your server config file:

    

     seta sv_master1 ""

     seta sv_master2 ""

     seta sv_master3 ""

     seta sv_master4 ""

     seta sv_master5 ""

   

  This makes sure the server sends no data out at all, effectively hiding

  it from anyone you didn't explicitly give the server information to, it

  wont show up on gamespy, master server list etc..
