You are sent on a quest to find the missing parts to the Amulet Shard. There are four pieces of this shard somewhere in the game. I never really found out where they were, as I just used the editor to see what quest the lady would send me on next. If you would like to get on with the game really quick, select the Equipment/Inventory slots and give yourself all four pieces of the Amulet Shard while you are still in the city with the lady. I was surprised at how many things they had created for this game item wise as I have no idea where you would find them all (except for the vault that is.) Vorpal Swords, Mystic Daggers, Ethereal Plate, Ethereal Blades, Wraith Axes etc. But then, what do you expect for an RPG game? I fiddled around with some of the items, but I couldn't figure out if MindScape was using the rules for Armor Class like TSR does or like Might & Magic does. If the AC is determined by 'the lower the number, the better' then I would suggest wearing anything and everything that has 'Wraith' in it as I found these to be the most protective material in the game. Note, we hacked out almost all of the usefull inventory items. Those listed with 'Use at own risk :-)' are unknown to us so as the sign says, it's your life bud... The game is half decent. If you raise all your four characters to the max and go into battle, you can knowingly walk upstairs, take a shower, eat, maybe even walk the dog if you have one and know that when you come back down, your characters will still be alive and well. On the average with normal weapons (Daggers, Short Swords, even bare hands) the damage is roughly 600+ to monsters and people against you. The equipment editor is pretty simple. Just select the item that you want your character to have and select it. Each character has a maximum of 16 slots for items, so the most any character can carry is 16 items. Just go through the list, experiment with everything until you find what you want. The item names are pretty self explanatory.
