My goal is to have people use this ³ ³ installer, rather than opt to manually unACE releases. ³ ³ ³ ³ The major complaints I hear about other groups installer programs ³ ³ is that they crash out, don't work properly in certain video modes ³ ³ (large fonts), grind your system to a halt with animation/music ³ ³ and are simply massive (adding almost a complete disk to the size ³ ³ of a release). ³ ³ ³ ³ With these comments in mind, I created an installer that works ³ ³ perfectly in all video modes, NT or 95/98, coded completely in ³ ³ compact CPP code using raw Win32 API calls and is EASY to use ³ ³ (a design very similar to the InstallSHIELD engine that everyone ³ ³ is familiar with and knows how to use). ³ ³ ³ ³ The RAZOR installer is also the first install engine to offer ³ ³ complete un-install via the Control Panels Add/Remove Programs ³ ³ interface and/or an icon.
