  Install the patch, then copy over the cracked exe in to the game dir.

  This will update you from version 1.0 or 1.2 to version 1.6. Versions 1.0 
  and 1.2 where singleplayer only versions. The 1.6 update will add in the 
  multiplayer aspect of SWAT3. Including all the new "Elite Edition" features.
