  RELEASE NOTES:

  I think its easiest to directly quote from a well-known scene message
  board, those are all comments from endusers of the OGN rip:

  "People seem to be under the mis-conception that there is no protection on
  X. There is !!
  If the game detects that it is not original, or that there is something
  like virtual cd-rom running, it halves your credits on a fairly regular
  basis...
  The OGN nfo says "copy protection : NA", and the DVNISO nfo says "copy
  protection : smelly feet", which I assume is an attempt at a humourous way
  of saying no protection. The readme for the game plainly states that money
  halving is a result of using a copied game."
  
  "I tried running the ogn release and you are quite right, the credits are
  slashed every 2 or 3 minutes, which for all intents and purposes in this
  game makes it unplayable. You would think that these guys at the very
  least read the readme file that comes with the game... =)"
  
  "Yeah weve all seen the success OGN had lately in rippin stuff, they plain
  suck."
  
  "I tried X on a freshly installed PC with no traces of ANY installed
  programs and it still happens. In-game, press P to bring up the player
  info - says 100 credits, and it has a play time counter.
  Every 10 minutes, the credits halve."

  Just unzip and unrar (overwrite) the X.exe and XDX6.exe to your gamedir.
  The rar also includes a savegame to check for the problem which exists
  with Origin's "crack" and should be fixed in this one :)
