  Iraqi regime of terror.  Fly above thousands of square miles of stunning
  satellite image-based terrain.  Look through your canopy and see the same
  environment that Coalition fighter pilots navigated during Operation Iraqi
  Freedom.

  Fly CAP (Combat Air Patrol), SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses),
  CAS/DAS (Close and Deep Air Support) and Escort missions in the challenging
  and varied theater environment.  Or create your own with the powerful and
  intuitive Mission Editor.  There's no limit to the number of unique scenarios
  that can easily be generated.  Include Coalition and enemy fighter aircraft
  of many types as well as bombers, helicopters, tanks, trucks, SAM missile
  systems and more.  Load them down with the latest in high-tech weaponry and
  send them into the fray.

  F/A-18 OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) is a stand-alone game that updates
  F/A-18 Korea.  Although priced like an expansion pack, it offers some
  significant changes over Korea:

  - Most obvious, the new game takes place in Iraq, using real place-names and
    distances.  Base and target locations are geographically correct.

  - The landscape is a satellite-image based texture drape, rather than the
    repeating tiles used in Korea.  Elevations are also satellite derived.

  - The 2-D instrument panel is gone.  A full 3-D panel is used instead,
    including a fully 3D HUD.

  - The user interface menus are completely new -- much quicker and simpler
    setup.

  - View keys have been rewritten to better serve AA combat.

  - All missions (including the all-new factory-supplied missions) are created
    using the mission editor and may be easily modified.
