We once again state our case: It seems DEViANCE has given permission to the guys at VENGEANCE to use "their" cracking tools. However what they failed to do, was ask the creator of those tools for permission to do this. According to the Scene Rip Rules signed by these same leaders. It is forbidden to use, or give permission to use these tools. and we quote: " No group shall use another's groups work - be it an iSO crack or tools written by another competing group. Any third party tools are acceptable. A crack from an iSO or past release (even in other languages or iSO's) shall not be used unless permission is given from the cracker or creator of the original release group. This permission can only be given by crackers and not leaders or seniors. Thus making sure crackers control their own cracks and are not dragged into group politics. " We asked the author of the tools in question and he agrees with us. The DEViANCE leadership DOES NOT have the rights to give permission for use of those tools. Some people pointed out that the SRR do not apply to the ISO scene, true. However over the years that games have been released on CDROM, and groups have released them, it has always been considerd a great wrong to steal a crack from another group and use it for their own release. DEViANCE leaders have in the past advocated this very same policy. This is why we shall nuke any VENGEANCE or other groups release, where we encounter a crack which was made by the tools belonging to this particular cracker.
