Release Notes:

Residing somewhere between the confines of rock and pop, American Eyes
create self-described neo-goth dance-punk that urges physical movement
while remaining lyrically poignant. The Los Angeles band’s debut EP,
"Never Trust Anything That Bleeds," follows the transition of a
relationship to its demise. Produced by Michael Patterson (P. Diddy,
Notorious B.I.G., Beck), the thematic album kicks off with "Knife
Fight with a Girl," which describes a bitter breakup, and concludes
with "Radio," a spite-filled kiss-off song. Curt Smith of Tears for
Fears fame lends his vocals to the sweeping, orchestral ballad, "Day
We Died."
