They started as a 3 piece, with Charles Dale on drums, and immedietly became one of the premier bands in the area. Charles had a few loose ends in his life to take care of, and eventually split with the band. In late 2005, right on the cusp of the band calling it quits, Stolen Transmission Records came calling. Singer/Guitar/Keyboard Player Evan Ferro quickly hired a local drummer by the name of Robert Torres to fill in the vacant spot, and then went on to invite his brother Matt Ferro to play second guitar. With dollar signs & record deals in their eyes, Matt & Robert quickly took Evan up on the invite. They both have a deep love for money and fame, and could not pass up the opportunity. Bright Light Fever spent the winter of 2005/2006 writing their debut full length for Stolen Transmission Records, and completed the recording in April 2006. The album was produced by Joby Ford (The Bronx) and engineered by Robert Cheek (Rx Bandits, An Angle, Supermodel Suicide) at The Hangar in Sacramento. The album is titled "BRIGHT LIGHT FEVER PRESENTS: THE EVENING OWL" and it will see a nationwide release in September 2006.
