Walk In Silence 2:59 Release Notes: http://www.newagerecords.com/ Since graduating and their inception in December 2001, Countdown to Life has been building a solid following nation wide. Their dedications to musical excellence and empowering live passion, presents an image that is both dangerous and compelling to all who experience their energy. On the contrary, it might be harder to find a nicer, more accessible group of guys than Countdown to Life. Their small town roots and blue collar work ethic make them more than just another up and coming punk/hardcore band fighting for position in your stereo. With influences ranging from Bad Religion to Strife, Countdown is not setting out to reinvent the wheel. Instead, they simply wish to do what they love: pour out their passion on stage, night after night on tour with their powering music that must be experienced and not just heard. Their short, sweet sets that keep the audiance both satisfied and begging for more, Countdown's live shows go unmatched. From Ty's front flip stage dives to Danny's constant and wreckless abandon, Countdown to Life is more than just band. Having played just over 180 shows in 2004 alone, rarely has rock n' roll been so solid, so crazy, and so fun, all in one experience. Since 2001 the Countdown has shared the stage with bands such as: Bane, 18 Visions, Comeback Kid, Give up the Ghost, Terror, 3 Inches of Blood, Himsa, Emery, Death by Stereo, Champion, Tsunami Bomb, R.X. Bandits, The Bled and many more. Releaseing their first full-length, "Tragedy is so Irresistable" on State of Grace Records got them the attention of Mike Hartsfield, owner and operator of New Age Records (Lifetime, Strife, Unbroken). Deciding to do the release for New Age Records, they acquired the help of producer/engineer, Paul Miner (Atreyu, Death by Stereo, Terror, Thrice) to record the second full length, "Govern Yourself Accordingly" set to explode 07/12/05.
