Sublime group soul from one of our favorite acts on Salsoul Records -- Philly
harmony quartet Double Exposure, easily one of the greatest groups to record in
the Sigma Sound Studios! Although working on the clubby Salsoul label, Double
Exposure have a depth that matches any of the best male soul groups of the 70s
-- an approach to vocals that's extremely well-crafted, and equally well-suited
to mellow tracks as well as uptempo ones. And although the group are best
remembered for their big disco singles of the late 70s, this collection also
includes all of their great ballads and love songs -- the complete set list from
the albums Ten Percent, Fourplay, and Locker Room -- plus 5 more tracks
presented in rare mixes from 12" singles! We'd easily rank the work here with
the best on Philadelphia International from the mid 70s -- and the collection is
