Whisper In The Night (Quad 4:48 Mix) Release Notes: The Electric Light Orchestra thrived under the guidance of singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Lynne, recording fourteen albums. Years before all the platinum and gold discs, Top 10 singles and sold-out world tours had made them a household name, ELO began as an experimental offshoot of The Move. The hit English band, featuring Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan, moved from Fly Records to EMI's new Harvest label during September 1970 and just months later, announced a new concept, 'The Electric Light Orchestra'. ELO recorded two critically acclaimed albums and three hit singles between 1970 and 1973 and it is to these early times 'Electric Light Orchestra - The Harvest Years' is dedicated. This 3 CD multipack contains the original albums 'The Electric Light Orchestra' and 'ELO2', the singles, sessions and out-takes.
