Release Notes:

Hootie and the Blowfish set to release their fifth studio album titled 
LOOKING FOR LUCKY August 9th through Vanguard Records and the band's 
independent label, Sneaky Long Records. 

The multi-platinum quartet –Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, Darius Rucker, and 
Jim Sonefeld – spent the most of the last year touring in support of THE 
BEST OF HOOTIE & THE BLOWFISH: 1993-2003 album. Once off the road, the 
band immediately went to work on their next release. The band entered 
Emerald Studio's in Nashville, TN, reuniting with longtime producer, 
Don Gehman. Gehman who produced the band’s hits such as "Hold My Hand", 
"Only Wanna Be With You", and Grammy award winning "Let Her Cry" got 
right to work with the boys laying down Darius's rich, bluesy vocals 
and the band's gleeful harmonies and infectious melodies. 

The band promises it's fans that the twelve track album is by far their 
best work. Tracks included are the fan favorite Autumn Jones, State Your 
Peace, Hey Sister Pretty, The Killing Stone, Get Outta My Mind, Another 
Years Gone By, Can I See You, Smile, One Love, Leaving, Free to Everyone, 
and Waltz Into Me. There are several special guest Musicians that appear 
on the album as well such as Sam Bush, Matraca Berg, and New Grass 
Revival's John Cowan.
