At the top of the hit parade that day, was "I Love Rock N Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. As his ears received their first taste of Earth's sounds and he heard the song, he made a vow from that day forward, NEVER to listen to crap 80's music as long as he lived. Noir was educated (and the word is used in the loosest possible sense) at an inner city high school close to the urban ghettos of Manchester. This is where he picked up his charming upper class accent and fine sense of gentleman's style. Making music throughout this period, Jim was experimenting with different sounds - mainly carpet jazz - and in doing so, learnt his trade as a multi instrumentalist in this field. Producer, Director, Wigmaker, Karate Expert and inter district Knitting champion 1991, Jim finally found his destiny when he met a man at a bus stop... Man at Bus Stop "You! Boy! Wanna be famous? I betcha do! Pop Star? I can make your dream come true, Just give me 50 pounds and I'll take you to the top" Jim handed over his 50 pounds and never saw the man again. Having learnt a very valuable lesson, Jim is now making better progress. This website will spawn and grow from this, it's humble beginnings and turn into a fully fledged hotspot for psychedelic pocketsize pop, and maybe some concept pieces when he goes through his beard phase. Stop, Look, and Listen to a master at work!
