It sucks though that a US guy has to do UK releases. What has happened with the "scene" over there? One of UK Garage's first true stars, MJ Cole took the genre to new heights with his 2000 album Sincere. From the start it was clear that Sincere was a landmark release, heralding the birth of a new genre and bringing an exceptional talent to the international stage. No surprise then that Sincere was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize. Firmly rooted in the UK garage scene, Cole was also a trained musician and it was perhaps this training which helped him create his remarkable sound - at times silky soul, at others rough R&B and hi-NRG, but always brimming over with energy and vibe of the jungle, drum&bass and garage scene. Featuring vocalists Elizabeth Troy, Caspa Nova, Concept Noir and Danny Vicious, the album contains tracks such as 'Banderlero Desperado', 'Rough Out Here' and 'Attitude'. Unlike many other albums of the time, Sincere remains as fresh and exciting now as it did on its first release. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GIWS9C/
