Incorporated (with distribution through Revelation.) Rounding out the band's lineup are L.A.-based punk scene veterans Eddie Solis, Wal Rashid and Jason Hampton (who had previously performed with Vallely in his last project Mike V and The Rats.) Revolution Mother offers up an arsenal of blues-based overdriven riffs, punishing hardcore rhythms, dynamic vocal deliveries and an uninhibited thirst for raw energy, which has led to comparisons to acts like AC/DC, Bl’ast, Motorhead and Black Flag. Enjoy The Ride features a host of styles, tempos and directions, showcasing the many facets of Revolution Mother’s direct-hitting approach. As for the lyrical direction, Vallely notes the prevailing theme is self-perseverance. “From the guy searching for a more meaningful existence in ‘Goodbye,’ to the unflinching ‘stand strong’ stance of the lyrics of ‘Never Die,’ these songs are about taking everything the world has to throw at you, taking your beatings, learning your lessons and getting up and getting on with it.” As for the five-song EP’s title, Vallely says that it holds a double meaning. “One as a personal mantra, enjoy the ride, the ride of life, and two, to all the naysayers and shit talkers, enjoy the ride boys, while it lasts, because what goes around comes around.” The quartet have embarked on a national tour in support of Enjoy The Ride, which in addition to regular club shows, includes performances with CKY on The Zumiez Couch Tour and appearances at various skate parks.
