Release Notes:

On September 12th, 2006 the Grey's Anatomy: Volume 2 Soundtrack
will be released. The album comes just in time for the new season
of the hit ABC series, which premieres on September 21st.

Grey's Anatomy: Volume 2 is being billed as a "musical scrapbook"
made up of songs that have been utilized in various episodes of
the series.

One of the highlights of the album is a new acoustic version of
Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars," which was recorded specifically for
the soundtrack.

"We used 'Chasing Cars' for last season's final episode," recalls
Alexandra Patsavas, the show's music supervisor. "It's a
beautiful and complex song and served as the perfect soundtrack
to a series of very complex moments. Like that version, the
album's acoustic rendition is both well-crafted and beautifully
executed."
