Release Notes:

Invaders is simply a compilation of heavy music that will be released by Kemado in
early Spring. It will include mostly unreleased and rare material from bands you
know and some bands you may have never heard of. The common thread is that whether
it's Hard Rock, Metal or Psych - it's all heavy.

The idea for this comp was birthed from three friends who share a passion for all
things loud. Over the past few years, it became clear that a new resurgence of
heavy bands was upon us...from the blistering riffage of High On Fire to the
psychedelic flourishes of Dungen and the spaced out Hard Rock of newcomers,
Danava. It was back with a vengeance. There were those who had never forgotten,
but for those who had, this was a wake up call. Within that time a weekly night of
Heavy Metal massacre was celebrated in NYC. Dubbed The Beast, we took pleasure in
spinning the Heavy records we grew up on and the new ones that made us feel just
as alive. It soon became obvious that this new "scene" needed to be
documented...so here ya have it. This is YOUR wake up call...the Invaders are upon
us and they show no sign of relenting!
