A great look at a lesser-publicized side of the London scene of today! The
city's great soul underground, rising up in recent years at a level to match our
own Neo Soul greats in the states. This collection is quite possibly the
freshest in the "city soul" series from Unisex as it gets past the more-imported
club sound of London, and brings a strong focus on the more soulful tracks from
the scene. Many of these artists are familiar for more dancefloor-oriented work,
but the tunes presented here are all much more soul-styled and often in an a
classically influenced way.
