Jane Hamilton - 5:28 Find Our Love (Volker Meitz Acoustic Replay) Release Notes: Slope (Daniel Paul and Dj Honesty) have released 2 albums and a bunch of singles on Sonar Kollektiv in the past few years. An eclectic mix of bouncy house, broken rhythms and funky melodies, essentially great productions hard to classify. They continue down that path with their remixes, and this cd/lp is a compilation of Slope remixes and Slope remixed. It's hard to pick favorites here, as the bar is pretty high. Their remixes for Studio R, 1luv, Deyampert, Robag Wruhme, ... are all very nice and perfectly suited for your den, your iPod and the dancefloor. The Slope remixed tracks maintain that high level: Charles Webster's remix is an interesting listening experience, the Forss remix is nice but too short, the Bugz return in full form with a slamming version of "Want 'Choo Longa" and Meitz turns "Find Our Love" in a stunning gently brushed jazz classic. A couple of tracks are just 'ok' - but they're not obsolete either. Overall a nice package to get your hands on! Prior to the compilation two 12”es will be released, the first dropped late November with a previously unreleased track (Runnin’), and a Henrik Schwarz remix of ’Keepin’ It Up’ from Slope’s first album.
