Vanlustbader release their debut single 'Here We Go Again' on 31st October 2005.
"For a long time it was called Pixies Cars 'cos we thought it sounded like a
cross between the two bands" says singer Shane. To the boys delight it was also
the song played as the Chelsea and Arsenal players ran onto the pitch during the
recent FA Charity Shield final.

Dragged up in Brisbane, Australia, (the same backwaters that gave the world that
country's two most critically loved bands, 'The Saints' and 'The Go-Betweens'),
these boys fuse rock, indie and punk in a way that will leave your jaw well and
truly dropped.

Incredible things have already been achieved in Australia, including tour dates
with fellow countrymen Jet, selling out the first pressing of the EP
independently (5000 copies) and having three (out of five) tracks from their
debut EP play-listed on high rotation on Triple J (Australia's Radio 1). Which
led Brit Producer Jim Abiss (Kasabian, Placebo, The Music, Editors, Ladytron and
DJ Shadow) to hot-footed it over to Oz, determined to work his magic on the
album The People Vs Vanlustbader, due for release early 2006.

The boys are no strangers to hard times in their quest for rock n' roll stardom;
the band share twin bunk beds in their one bedroom South London HQ, they built
their own public house in the front room called 'The Cocks Head' and have been
known to self-supply their rider with liquid meals that are given to hospital
patients, "An anonymous donor" says a deadpan Shane. Oh, and they once left Paul
in Birmingham with just a pair of skeleton gloves to keep him warm! You have
